Flux for Windows and Mac
Your next site change starts here.
Flux runs on your Windows PC or Mac. You’ll need Python 3.12, Docker 28 or newer running for local previews, and a supported connection to your WordPress site. The pilot helps choose between SSH, Cloudways setup and the Flux Connector preview.
Windows
Install the Windows desktop app and matching engine on your PC.
Mac
Choose the Apple silicon or Intel app for your Mac, with the matching engine.
Public downloads aren’t available yet
Windows and Mac teams can join the assisted pilot. Approved teams receive a verified build for their computer and help with installation.
Apply for agency pilotPrepare your account
Open the account menu and sign in with your Flux account. Choose your own AI key in AI settings, or select Flux hosted credits on an eligible paid plan. Connect your site and create a local preview before making changes.
Updating an existing installation
Finish your current work and close Flux. Install the matching engine and desktop app for your platform from the same release, then reopen the app. Your settings and site files stay in place. The app checks the engine version before using it.
